As a B-BBEE Level 3 Contributor, Lesedi leads in managing its portfolio to meet the requirements of Eskom, Lesedi’s major client. In this regard, the company has, over many years, successfully managed to attain a variety of targets for preferential procurement, skills development, and localisation

Being a South African company also enables Lesedi to master an excellent understanding of localisation in the context of executing power infrastructure projects. 
This model will continue as Lesedi expands its footprint to Africa.

CSI is not an end at Lesedi, but a means of stimulating a culture of achievement within communities. The Lesedi CSI committee selects flagship projects with a long-term commitment to build a sustainable impact:

Enterprise and Supplier Development

Preferential procurement is a significant driver of transformation in South Africa, and we strive to ensure that we procure from suppliers that are BEE accredited and that we also contribute to the development of small suppliers through our Enterprise and Supplier Development program. Our Enterprise and Supplier Development program seeks to assist qualifying EME’s, QSE’s and 51% black-owned entities through;

  • Financial and Non-Financial support
  • 3-year supplier agreements
  • 15 days early payments
